‘They’ve got it all wrong!’ Trump says entire G7 laughing at US fake news

With their ‘inaccurate’ coverage of his meetings with the world leaders, the US ‘fake news’ media have become the laughingstock of the G7 summit in France, US President Donald Trump claimed.

“In France we are all laughing at how knowingly inaccurate the US reporting of events and conversations at the G-7 is,” Trump tweeted Sunday evening. “These Leaders, and many others, are getting a major case study of Fake News at it’s (sic) finest!”

They’ve got it all wrong, from Iran, to China Tariffs, to Boris!

Throughout the weekend, Trump has been convincing his twitter followers, and the world, that he is getting along with the leaders of the six advanced economies amid skeptical reporting mostly focused on many disagreements the US has with other nations. US protectionist trade policies, Trump’s belligerent approach to Iran, and his support for Boris Johnson’s vision of Brexit overshadowed other issues Trump brought to the table.

Starting his Sunday morning routine by slamming the mainstream media’s ‘anti-Trump bias’, the US president spent the rest of the afternoon tweeting how he and his opinions are valued, supported, and respected by the other leaders.

Well, we are having very good meetings, the Leaders are getting along very well, and our Country, economically, is doing great – the talk of the world!

‘Honor for entire India!’ Modi scores two high state awards on Persian Gulf tour (PHOTOS, VIDEO)

India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been honored by two high state awards in a single day from monarchs of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates.

The day began with the bestowment of UAE’s highest civil honor award – the Order of Zayed – which Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan placed on Modi’s neck for playing a “pivotal role” in strengthening bilateral ties, which last year reached new heights.

Humbly accepting the honor, Modi dedicated the recognition of his work to all 1.3 billion Indians, over 3 million of whom live in UAE. The bilateral trade volume last year grew by 20 percent to $59.9bn while Indian export to UAE grew by 7 percent to over $30bn, partly because of UAE’s free trade zones.

Moving on with him Persian Gulf tour, Modi flew to Bahrain, becoming the first Indian Prime Minister to visit the kingdom. During a royal welcome from King Salman Al Khalifa, the Indian leader received yet another award to add to his collection – the Order of the Renaissance – which he dedicated to the entire nation of India.

It is an honor for entire India. This is a symbol of the close and friendly relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and India.

Man CRUSHED by elevator in nightmarish incident in luxury Manhattan high-rise

A malfunctioning elevator in a posh New York City apartment building killed a man in a gruesome way, as other residents watched in horror.

Video of the graphic incident, captured by the building’s security cameras on Thursday morning, shows one person getting out of the elevator. When another passenger tries to follow, the elevator plummets down, shearing him in half and crushing his body against the shaft.Samuel Waisbren, 30, was pronounced dead at the scene.

“The elevator took him down,” one of the people who witnessed the event told the New York Daily News. “It’s awful. It was disgusting.”

Five other passengers were still on board the runaway elevator, and had to be rescued by firefighters.

“Some people were left on the car after the car moved down to the basement,” said FDNY Chief Anthony Arpaia, adding the firefighters “had to work pretty hard” to get to them and recover Waisbren’s remains.

Weisbren had moved to New York from Milwaukee, Wisconsin several years ago, and had complained to his parents about the elevators in the building where a one-bedroom apartment rents for about $3,600 a month.

“My feeling about New York is you pay a bazillion dollars for rent, the least they could do is provide safety,” his father, Dr. Charles Waisbren, told the Daily News by phone.

Other residents told the local media that the building has had elevator safety issues in the past. It was fined nearly $1,300 in May for an elevator violation. The city’s Buildings Department is now leading the investigation to determine what caused the fatal incident.

Cardinal George Pell loses appeal on child sexual assault conviction

Australian senior Catholic Church figure Cardinal George Pell has lost his appeal against his conviction for sexually abusing choirboys in Melbourne in the 1990s.

The decision, adopted by a 2-1 majority vote by the Victorian Court of Appeal, means that Pell will remain in prison to serve out his six-year sentence.

The former Vatican treasurer was unanimously convicted last December for abusing the 13-year-old boys after a mass at St Patrick's Cathedral. The 78-year-old is still eligible to apply for parole after he's served three years and eight months of the sentence.
